     Dorothy Jane Fry, 96, of Peoria, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Proctor Place in Peoria.
     Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Proctor Place, 2724 West Reservoir Boulevard in Peoria, with Chaplain Mary Jane West officiating. A private interment will be at Jubilee Churchyard Cemetery at Jubilee State Park at a later date.
     Dorothy was born on November 30, 1916 in Falls City, NE, the daughter of Howard and Anna Mary (Wood) Deuell. She was formerly married to Milton J. Bublitz.
     She married Eugene Fry on December 17, 1959 in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 1975 in Brimfield. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Gwendolyn and Martha Bublitz; and brother, Robert G. Deuell.
     She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Don Nelson) Stenger of Bartonville; son, Vince (Cathy) Bublitz of Brimfield; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
     Dorothy retired as a Medical Records Administrator for OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. She was formerly employed as the Director for the American Heart Association in Peoria and enjoyed amateur acting for Corn Stock Theatre and Peoria Players Theatre. In recent years, she published a book of short stories and poems.
     She leaves behind many loving family members and friends. She will be missed.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Methodist Hospice or Proctor Place.
     Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
